Global Warming...
Global warming is real!!!
It is happening more quickly than we think. Ozone holes formed dramatically in the spring of 1997. In the 1980's the scientists discovered that the ozone layer was being polluted by fluorocarbons. WHY THE OZONE LAYER IS IMPORTANT? Because, the ozone layer protects us from harmful ultraviolet rays. When the ozone layer being polluted, the temperature of surface is increasing and it causes global warming. The Antarctica is covering with ice due to cold weather and very sensitive to small rises in the annual average temperatures. The annual average temperature has increased by nearly 3°C in the last 50 years which is about 10 times faster than the average in the rest of the world. We can resolve all the ozone problems by simply using less electricity and causing less air pollution by using less gas. When we use these devices, they transfer their energy to the stratosphere, which is why the ozone holes form. After all, one ozone hole is enough for the whole earth! Let's find out how global warming effects to Antarctica and what we have to do to save the Antarctica. |
